Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released official notification to conduct Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2018 for the recruitment of 414 vacancies for the post of Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy.

ELIGIBILITY :
Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status:
(i) For Indian Military Academy and Indian Naval Academy—Male Candidates must be Unmarried and born not earlier than 2nd July, 1995 and not later than 1st July, 2000 only are eligible.
(ii) For Air Force Academy— Candidates should be 20 to 24 years as on 1st July, 2019 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd July, 1995 and not later than 1st July, 1999 only are eligible.
(iii) For Officers’ Training Academy—(SSC Course for men) Male candidates should be unmarried and born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 2000 only are eligible.
(iv) For Officers’ Training Academy—(SSC Women Non-Technical Course) Women should be Unmarried, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. Women must be born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 2000.
Educational Qualifications:
(i) For Indian Military Academy and Officers’ Training Academy— Graduate from a recognised University or its equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy— Engineering graduate from a recognised University or its equivalent.
(iii) For Air Force Academy—Graduate from a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics as their subjects during 10+2 or higher secondary level) or Engineering graduate.
Physical Standards:
